SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a more info result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
